What am I upto
This is basically a journal listing things that I'm working on right now. It's kind of like a more relevant about page inspired by nownownow.com.

A detour
This week, we went for a work trip to Pondicherry to attend a FOSS meetup.
I'm surprised a short 3 day trip made me fall in love with a city (that I actually have been to a few times before). That confirms my theory that college trips just don't cut it.
The lanes of French colony show how just a little color can change so much. Obviously, the fact is unbeknownst to the techies in Bangalore. There are also better footpaths, great eateries (that won't come up on your Instagram feeds) and a bunch of memorable experiences. I've decided I want to do a lot more trips this year.
Work
- Preparations for IndiaFOSS 2025 are in full swing!
- I'm talking about FOSS in educational technology at CSET 2025
- I'll be attending events in Mumbai, Pune and Thailand in the next few weeks.
Outside work
- I got to see Interstellar at a theatre last week which is really once in a lifetime experience!
- I'm currently reading and getting my mind blown by every page of Phantoms in the Brain by Ramachandran V. S

Goodbye, 2024!
Last week, we went to the Janastu Base Camp to attend AnthillHacks.
I'm in the middle of a 5 day long break from work that has given me some time to reflect on the last year and think about things I want to work on in 2025.
I spent the last day of 2024 setting up my blog on Bear.
Work
- FOSS United completes 5 years this month, come celebrate with us at the anniversary event organised by the foundation team.
- I'm working on the Partner Projects Program for FOSSHack 2025.
- We've started preparations for IndiaFOSS 2025.
- I've been helping out for the outreach efforts at FLOSS/fund. Trying to community source a list of critical and/or underfunded projects that can benefit from the initiative. If you know of a project that is in need of funding, please reply here
Outside work
- I'm currently reading Phantoms in the Brain by Ramachandran V. S
- I'm playing Far Cry 5, which is my third game of the franchise.
- I recently binge watched (and loved!) Cunk on Earth.
